Steffan Berelowitz
President and Founder
Steffan Berelowitz founded Bit Group, Inc. in 1995, and has managed the company over its 14-year history developing a client list of Fortune 500, mid-market and emerging businesses. In addition to his responsibilities at Bit Group, Steffan is a member of the SaaS Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, and before that served as a trustee of the organization. From 2001 to 2006, as a trustee, Steffan met regularly with local and national policymakers in order to bring the software industry's concerns to the attention of lawmakers. Steffan currently serves as co-chair of CJP's Technology Advisory Board, serves on the CJP Technology Industry Group Advisory Committee, and is a member of the Boston College Technology Council. Steffan also served on the board of directors of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, and chaired the advisory board of the Center for Information Technology of Hebrew College, and led Bit Group's pro bono involvement in City Year. He is also a member of the Technology Network, a national network of senior executives from the nation's leading technology companies.
A graduate of Boston College, Steffan has spent the past 16 years in online services and technology. In 1993, Steffan founded his first technology business, ArtNet, now a publicly-traded web portal. ArtNet.com's Online Gallery Network is the largest of its kind, with over 1,300 galleries, 36,000 works and 13,000 artists from around the globe, and is recognized as one of the leading Web sites for buying and selling art online. From 1996 to 2000, Steffan served as an Internet consultant to former senator and presidential candidate Senator Bill Bradley, ultimately leading to the development of the Bill Bradley Presidential Campaign Web site. Prior to founding Bit Group, Steffan was with Fidelity Investments working in electronic publishing.
Mike Girifalco
Director of Services
Mike Girifalco is Bit Group's Director of Services. With over a decade of consulting experience, Mike has helped clients identify, plan and
implement web-based initiatives for his clients resulting in positive business impact. As Bit Group's Director of Services, Mike is responsible for defining the department's organizational structure, objectives, skill sets and service offerings to support the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.
Mike has extensive experience with technology strategy and assessment, multi-vendor project coordination, backend integration, e-commerce, quoting/rating solutions, registration/security, database design, business process engineering. On his engagements, Mike has played a wide variety of roles including architect, project manager and technology strategist, implementing and working with a diverse set of tools and technologies. Mike brings experience and knowledge across several verticals such as healthcare, manufacturing, publishing and retail while working for clients such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, The Bridgespan Group, Cabot Corporation and Harvard Business School Publishing.
Mike has an MBA from Bentley College and a BS in from the University of Pennsylvania.
Daniel Sullivan
Emerging Business Practice Manager
Daniel has over 10 years of experience creating and implementing successful strategies for
community engagement, and leads the Emerging Business Practice at Bit Group. He has worked for several
pioneering IPO and pre-IPO high growth web based companies. He is a successful web-technology
entrepreneur, co-founder and past president of a profitable 110 employee Business to Consumer and
Business to Business web based company, and comes to Bit Group from Dell, where he was a Senior Strategy Consultant.
Daniel has his BA from Boston College, where he studied English and Communications.

Paul Egerman
Director
Paul Egerman currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Software and Internet Council and is the CEO of eScription, a privately held company that provides dictation and transcription management and automatic speech recognition for the healthcare industry. Previously, Mr. Egerman was a principal of IDX Systems Corporation, a public company with over $341 million in sales and more than 4,000 employees. Paul Egerman is also a member of the board of directors at Softwatch, a provider of Internet relationship management products and services, and is actively involved in its marketing, sales and business development. Paul holds a Bachelors degree from MIT.
Walter Winshall
Director
Walter Winshall is a principal in Collaborative Seed and Growth Partners, LLC, a company investing in the commercialization of early stage technology. He was a co-founder and, until recently, chairman of SilverPlatter International, NV, a provider of reference information to academic and research institutions, which has been acquired by Wolters Kluwer BV. Previously, Mr. Winshall was a principal in CLSI, a supplier of library automation systems and services. He serves as a director of several early stage businesses. Mr. Winshall graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and from the Harvard Law School.
C. Michael Daley
Advisory Board Member
Advisory Board Member C. Michael Daley was most recently chairman, chief executive officer and treasurer of the Dedham-based LoJack Corp., a manufacturer of stolen car recovery devices. Mr. Daley has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1981. He served as Chief Executive Officer from 1986 to 2001 and was instrumental in making LoJack Corporation one of the most successful automotive after-market companies in the country, overseeing the company's growth to over $100m in sales. In the October 30, 2000 edition of Forbes Magazine, LoJack Corporation was recognized as one of the 200 best small companies in America. Mr. Daley received a marketing degree from Boston College.
