Bit Group uses agile methodology to launch TransitionAssist.com; a website platform for users to evaluate healthcare insurance plans in their region.

October 27, 2008 — Bit Group Inc., Boston’s longest established independent Web agency with a mission to help you gain and sustain market leadership in your field, announces the launch of TranistionAssist.com, a website platform that allows users to compare healthcare insurance plans in their area as well as informing and helping employees transition to Medicare based insurance coverage with offerings in all fifty states.

Bit Group and the Transition Assist team utilized a high-collaborative agile development methodology, over multiple release cycles to build out the features and content for creating, viewing and comparing and complex health plan information. This methodology combined with the Ruby on Rails platform allowed for a broad set of functionality to be delivered quickly as part of the successful TranistionAssist.com launch.
