BlueTrain Mobile, a service of Bit Group, announces the launch of a mobile website for Retail Systems Research (RSR). The website will allow users to access information about RSR from the convenience of their mobile devices without the hassle of zooming or dealing with pages that don’t work on mobile browsers. The website can be viewed at www.retailsystemsresearch.com on iPhone and Android devices. Steffan Berelowitz, BlueTrain Mobile’s Conductor and CEO said “according to Michael Slinger, Director of Mobile in the America’s at Google, mobile searches rose 500% in the last year. We are excited to announce that BlueTrain Mobile won the Best Mobile Startup at Mobile Monday Boston's May 9th showcase. There were 32 exhibiting companies, and the award went to two organizations that tied in receiving the most votes from among nearly 600 attendees of the event. The event was held at the MIT Museum in Cambridge and provided a night of mobile exhibitions, drinks, snacks, and networking. Mobile Monday is the world’s largest mobile industry community with chapters in over 80 cities worldwide. BlueTrain Mobile engineers and conductors were on hand wearing our signature train conductor hats and providing demos of our mobile website platform. We're excited to announce the launch of an Android Application for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) as part of the Walking Club campaign. The BIDMC Walking Club targets local businesses and schools to create support groups in which kids and parents can measure their daily walking activities. The application enables users to set a certain number of steps per day as a goal and leverages the Android accelerometer to track the progress. The application can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace. -

Bit Group announces the launch of a website for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center that incorporates humorous E-Cards and an E-Book to promote regular screenings. The site extends the marketing reach of BIDMC's "HealthyIs" campaign by raising awareness about colon cancer. ATG (also known as Art Technology Group) is a global provider of e-commerce solutions to more than 1200 top brands including Best Buy, CVS, and Tommy Hilfiger. The new site was designed with the goals of attracting and engaging prospects, highlighting the company's stellar customer portfolio, and demonstrating its own technology in action.
With these goals in mind, Bit Group and ATG embarked on a highly collaborative process that resulted in a ground-breaking site that features a highly interactive home page, clear and engaging navigation, stunning imagery, and a powerful customer showcase. Bit Group announces the launch of www.skillter.com, as the first step of a multiphase launch of a new service that will help employers and candidates create better matches based on attitude and culture. The initial Web site provides prospective employers and job seekers with an overview of the product concept and the ability for the first 1000 Job Seekers and 100 Recruiters to obtain free accounts. Skillter is currently in a Private Beta Phase. -

Bit Group is selected by Skillter, a company developing a product that will help employers and candidates create better matches based on attitude and culture. Skillter's matching engine connects pre-qualified job seekers with career opportunities using 16 Scales of Compatibility. These validated psychometric algorithms focus on attitude and corporate culture fit rather than mere resumes and keywords, to create lasting professional relationships that create sustainable value. Using lean startup principles, Bit Group will collaborate with Skillter to outline product requirements and define the minimal viable product (MVP) for initial market entry. Bit Group's methodology for product planning will enable Skillter to define a wide range of product requirements, classifying them by priority and effort. Using this process, we're able to identify the Quick Win features that comprise the most value for the lowest effort. The project will result in a multiphase project plan for Skillter. - November 2, 2009Bit Group announces the launch of www.cba.neu.edu, the Northeastern University College of Business Administration web site. To communicate the College’s most compelling points of differentiation, Bit Group created an animation for the home page illustrating (i) the power of combining professional-level work experience with academic study, (ii) the College’s strong corporate partnerships, and (iii) its world class faculty. Bit Group implemented the web site using the Ektron content management system. The site was designed to serve the College’s many diverse audience segments and provides a powerful technology platform for content providers to easily update and maintain content.

Bit Group announces the launch of www.chemistry2011.org commemorating the United Nations International Year of Chemistry. The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) were chartered to publicize and coordinate global activities demonstrating that chemistry is important to the well-being of humanity and is critical in addressing the challenges inherent in sustainable development. Chemistry2011.org, completed for IUPAC, will enable chemists across the globe to connect with one another and share activities and events related to the international year of chemistry. -
